37 U.S. Maps That Illustrate Little-Known Facts About America

These little known facts about the USA show how different (and similar) we all really are.

We know that the United States can be pretty different from state to state, even if they’re right next to each other. Georgia loves peanuts in Coca Cola, but the other Southern States? Not so much. New York adores their garbage plate, but the other states would look at you like you’re crazy if you brought it up.

It turns out, there’s a lot more that separates our states other than borders. We watch different stuff, speak different languages, and are populated by different generations. Okay, not every state is different (some of us have to be similar!), but it’s fun to read about these little-known facts about the USA.

Some of these are a little surprising. We absolutely expected Texas to be Cowboys country, but they seem to have most of the southwest locked down too!

It's no wonder that Georgia went to the Braves, but we can't believe that they're the most popular team in Alabama too! I thought those states were supposed to be mortal enemies?

Sometimes the United States ends up surprising you, and that goes double when it comes to sports teams!
